This site carries advertising. The ad slots on these pages are filled and served by third-party advertising companies, not by us — and those companies are paid by the advertiser, not by you.
A company serving an advertisement here may collect and use information about your visit: your IP address, the browser and device you are using, the page you are on, and in many cases a cookie or similar identifier stored in your browser. It uses that information to decide which advertisement to show, to stop showing you the same one over and over, to count how many people saw it, and to confirm it was genuinely displayed. Some of these companies also use it to build a picture of what you appear interested in and to serve advertising on that basis, both here and on other sites.

The site is a plain reference page about a video game. It is not directed at children specifically, it collects nothing from anyone itself, and there is no feature here that asks a young reader for anything. No child-directed advertising is requested or bought on this site; the slots are filled by the advertising company on general terms, and that company's own practices are described in the Advertising section above.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The one change that will never happen quietly is the introduction of advertising or analytics — that gets written into the sections above before it is switched on.
